Get Involved
Whether you’re part of a school group, youth group, club, Bible Study group, women’s group, office group, or a family group, everyone is welcome at Material Resources Centre located in the MCC Centre in BC. Come and learn about the work that MCC is doing around the world and spend a bit of time working to help others. The following are some examples of what your group could be involved in as volunteers:
pack kits – relief kits ($50), hygiene kits ($14), dignity kits ($34)
load used clothing into a baler for recycling
check and fold donated blankets
tape pencils together
Pack Kits.
The supplies that MCC sends around the world offer comfort to families facing disaster or crisis. They’re also a tangible way you can share God’s love and compassion, reminding people around the world that their needs are not forgotten.

Volunteer
If you would like to be a regular volunteer committing to coming in one morning or afternoon per week we are especially in need of people who are able or willing to sew using a machine, hand quilt or use a bailer (for clothing and comforters).

Your gift to "cash for kits" covers shipping and land transportation costs for donated items like relief kits, comforters and school kits. Your donation helps these generous gifts get to the individuals and families who need them.
